Huehaus Atelier x Cef

Mornings
Original (1/1)

Acrylic on cotton canvas, 24 × 36 inches.

The work is a study in simplicity, where texture and form are reduced, revealing complexity only through attention.

Set within a custom frame in western red cedar, crafted by a local woodworker, the piece is finished with a proprietary wax blend that preserves the material’s warmth and depth.

Issued as Huehaus Atelier Archive No.01.

Initial acquisition value: $3,750

Behind the Canvas

  • " Painting, to me, is more introspective than extrospective. When I paint, I try to quiet expectations of the end result and others’ perceptions, and instead focus on pouring out positive emotions in the moment. "

  • " I don’t set a fixed amount of time for a piece—the only requirement is that I stop once it makes me smile, before the urge for over-perfection creeps in. "

  • " The greatest artist of all time, God, is both my source of inspiration and the owner of my craft. I’m constantly floored by the beauty that surrounds us—both in nature and in the seemingly ordinary rhythms of daily life. These are the moments and memories I try to put to paper when I paint. "

  • " 'Mornings' is a piece born from the same place. At it's core, it's about learning to look at a rather unimpressive subject and discovering great beauty in it. "

Material Study

Viewing Philosophy

To preserve the humanity of art and prevent the data mining of artists’ work for model training, we have taken a different approach to how original works are displayed.

All original works issued by the studio with no print derivatives are shown on a paid-to-view basis rather than being fully displayed online.

This ensures the work remains protected from digital extraction while allowing collectors to experience the piece intentionally.

The viewing cost is deducted from the final purchase upon acquisition.
